We thought we would start 2015 with our thoughts on best practice when it comes to training. Training can be viewed as a change process, and if we really want to get the change that is required and deliver results to the business then a one-off training activity is unlikely to provide the development needed.
Of course it is not appropriate to follow the process outlined below for all training but for important and strategically aligned training, or where large numbers are involved, we have found that this process is robust and works, and indeed is considered best practice in many organisations.
